===== Circlet of Control =====

The circlet of control is a brass circlet (similar to a crown) which grants the wearer several mind spells.

  * [[magic:spells:mind#Distract]]

The user need not know any spells, but must have Magery 1 or greater. 

The circlet contains a power gem with 20 MP, but spells may also be powered by the caster's MP.

The circlet counts as a helm with 1 Armor Point.

=== Side Effects ===
While wearing the circlet, the wearer receives a +2 Charisma bonus, and a -2 Reason penalty.

The wearer slowly descends into the grip of extreme paranoia, afraid that any action may end catastrophically, and feeling that everyone is doomed to utter failure without their constant guidance.
