Dagult Neverember
Renaer's estranged father, Dagult is now Lord Protector of Neverwinter and exiled former Open Lord of Waterdeep.
Dagult hid a massive hoard of cash and saved the information of its whereabouts in Golorr, thus wiping his memory.
He hid the stone of Golorr in a pendant that he gave to Renaer, with an ivory cameo of his mother.
After this was stolen, Dagult may or may not have hired Dalakhar to steal the Stone of Golorr from whoever has it now. Dagult would have had to had spies watching Renaer in order to know about the theft.
