Yuan-Ti
The yuan-ti nightmare speaker Fenthaza (see chapter 4) believes that the Black Opal Crown can awaken Dendar the Night Serpent. If the characters find the crown, Fenthaza tries to kill them before they escape Chult with it. The crown rests in the maze of death (area 49). ToA p 161
